An exciting role has come up within BMI trailers working with a robotic welder as a Robotics Engineer. This will involve working alongside our Robotics Engineer and reporting to the Engineering Manager. The role will also involve a mixture of programming and other duties.
Here at BMI, we manufacture high quality vehicles & trailers. The company also provides a number of other services, including power takeoff (PTO) installation, floor installation/replacement and body work. We also supply parts for the BMI range of vehicles and competitor vehicles.
We are an innovative company who, in the past year, have invested in a robotic welder to expand the businesses capacity. Currently our robotic welder runs aluminum assemblies and steel when required. The cell can be programmed offline using DTPS software and online using the pendant to control the robot. The cell also incorporates an ARC EYE system for seam tracking, to detect weld positions. Full training will be given for offline and online programming, developing knowledge so that programming can be completed on a day to day basis, and support production issues.
