Following a period of research and design, the bmi group has unveiled their latest addition to the Standard Ejector fleet.
This vehicle’s body has been constructed from Hardox material, and built to an extremely tough specification. It has been designed specifically for the metal recycling industry, and the bmi group’s director, Brendan McIlvanna is pleased with the progress that has been made with the completed vehicle. “We have spent months listening to the needs of our customers, and tailoring each vehicle to suit their specifications, but one market which seemed to be consistently overlooked was the metal re-processing industry. We have therefore built a more robust trailer, using 450 grade Hardox, capable of handling the heavier, bulkier loads which would be expected within this market.”
The first of these vehicles to come off the production line was manufactured for Clearway, one of the leading metal recycling operations in Ireland. Their needs were simple – construct a vehicle capable of handling all grades of metal to and from their various processing centers.
Discussions are currently underway with a number of UK based metal recycling companies with a view to increasing production towards the summer months.
