It has just been announced that the bmi group have been nominated as the preferred supplier for a contract to supply 4 new waste transfer trailers to Bradford Metropolitan Borough Council.

Amongst the many benefits that bmi offered was the fact that the bmi group is the only waste transfer trailer manufacturer in the UK to have the full ECWVTA approvals on their range of transfer trailers. From October this year the rules will change and new trailers will now have to comply with the new Consent to Supply requirement, that is a European requirement that all trailer are now built and inspected to a standard prior to being allowed to operate in the UK and Europe. Bmi has seen Mainland European enquiries and orders increase in the last 12 months for their transfer trailers and are actively looking into other markets in Africa and Australia.
