WORK LOCATION: Redditch

REPORTS TO: Workshop Manager
TYPE: Full Time
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
To organise the stores and support the Workshop Manager and Administrator in maintaining Redditch Pitlane, to include but not restricted to:
- Responsible for sourcing new suppliers, ordering stock, keeping good stock control, updating the BMI System
- Responsible for taking parts sales, packing and organising shipment, liaising with customers
- Supporting Workshop Administrator on pricing of parts on job cards, updating system
- Receiving and checking all goods inwards
- Performing daily checks around site to maintain compliance in H & S
- Supporting the Workshop Manager on any workshop admin or housekeeping duties keeping the workshop tidy
- Delivering excellent customer/supplier service when dealing with visitors
- Social media and advertising special offers on parts/services
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Covering for annual leave as and when required.
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS office, Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Experience in Efacs or similar systems
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and exemplary customer service
- Ability to work as a team or independently using their own initiative to carry out jobs to completion within the parameters of instructions given.
- Experience in stock control, procurement and administration would be an advantage but training will be given to the right candidate
- Forklift experience (training will be given to the right candidate)
- Organised, methodical and accurate
